The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has eulogised the Vice-President, Senator Kashim Shettima who clocked 58 on Monday.
Speaker Abbas said Vice President Shettima had been a dependable ally to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and a stabilising factor in the current administration and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Speaker, in a congratulatory message issued through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Krishi, in Abuja on Monday said Senator Shettima’s astounding performance as two-term governor of Borno State stands out.
“Vice-President Shettima was astounding as governor of Borno State, as Senator of the Federal Republic, and still shines as Vice-President of Nigeria.
“He keeps blazing the trail. Nigeria needs more public servants like him,” Speaker Abbas said.
The Speaker wished Shettima more years of service to the country, in sound health, and an increased wisdom from the Almighty God.
