Gov Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra on Tuesday, inaugurated a 100-bed spaced hospital in Ichida, Anaocha Local Government Area of the state.
Soludo during the inauguration, said the hospital – St. Charles Galaxy Hospital will improve access to healthcare delivery in the state.
The governor commended the community for erecting the hospital’s structure with the government providing standard medical equipment for improved health services.
“We appreciate this public-private partnership because the government cannot meet the people’s health needs alone,” he said.
He noted that his administration has a responsibility to provide quality healthcare and education, among others, to residents to improve their lives.
The State Commissioner for Health, Dr Afam Obidike, said the modernly equipped hospital will increase the number of patient care in the community and environs.
The Manager of the hospital, Rev. Fr. Augustine Igwebuike, said the hospital’s mission is to deliver efficient healthcare service and reduce mortality rate.
