Sen Adetokunbo Abiru (APC, Lagos -East) has extended his condolences to fuji music maestro and cultural ambassador, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as KWAM1, over the passing of his mother, Alhaja Halima Anifowoshe, aged 105.
Abiru, in a statement issued by his Media Aide, Enitan Olukotun and made available to newsmen on Sunday in Lagos, described the loss as an irreparable one.
He comforted Ayinde and the entire Anifowoshe family to take solace in the fact that their departed matriarch lived an exemplary life of exceptional grace and selfless service to humanity.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of the Lagos East Senatorial District, I extend my heartfelt condolences to Nigeria’s music icon and cultural ambassador, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, on the passing of his beloved mother.
“The loss of a mother is an irreplaceable void, and my thoughts are with K1 De Ultimate and the entire Anifowoshe family during this profoundly difficult time.
“Alhaja Halima Shadiya was a matriarch whose life reflected grace, love, and unwavering commitment to her family and community.
“Your immeasurable love and devotion to your mother during her lifetime were evident to all.
“Her transition is undoubtedly a deeply emotional moment, but I urge you to find solace in the remarkable life she lived and the values she instilled in you.
“As you and your family mourn this irreplaceable loss, I pray that Almighty Allah grants her Al-Jannah Firdaus and provides you with the fortitude to bear this loss.
