The second return flight carrying pilgrims from Kano State who participated in the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage has departed King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, en route to Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport in Nigeria.
The flight transported 550 pilgrims representing six local government areas within Kano State.
The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Danbappa, expressed his gratitude for the safe and orderly return of the pilgrims, attributing the successful Hajj experience to divine guidance and meticulous planning.
“We thank Almighty Allah for the smooth and successful completion of this sacred obligation,” Danbappa said. He also acknowledged the Kano State Government for its continuous support throughout the Hajj preparations and execution.
He encouraged returning pilgrims to carry forward the values they embraced during the pilgrimage—particularly discipline, unity, and devotion—and to embody these virtues in their daily lives.
