The Publisher of Swift Reporters and author of “The Face of New Policing In An Era Of Renewed Hope”, Mr Kehinde Adewole has congratulated the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Olukayode Egbetokun at 60.
A statement by Adewole on Wednesday in Abuja described the I-G as the shining lights of the Nigeria Police in Africa.
Adewole said he joined members of the Nigeria Police Force and the family of the Egbetokun to celebrate the unique history of the I-G.
He said Egbetokun had within a short period, rose from being a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police to the rank of an I-G.
“On this 60th birthday, I celebrate you as one of the shining lights of the Nigeria Police in Africa. You are a man who is not just great but has become an enigma.
“You moved from being an enigma to being a legend. You have become a myth, a realm rarely attained by mortals; in fact, you have achieved immortality.
“May the Lord continue to bless and guide you, increase your wisdom and pour the oil of anointing upon your head,” he said. (NAN)
