The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has released the official timetable for its upcoming elective national convention, scheduled to hold on 15 and 16 November 2025.
The timetable, signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Umar Bature, was made public on Sunday in Abuja.
According to the schedule, the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms will begin on 3 September and close on 22 September, while the deadline for submission of completed forms is set for 26 September.
The screening of all aspirants will take place on 30 September, followed by the publication of cleared aspirants on 3 October, and screening appeals on 6 October.
The final list of aspirants will be published on 10 October.
The party reaffirmed that the national convention will take place over two days — 15 and 16 November — with the handover to newly elected officials expected to occur between 1 and 8 December.
The PDP said the process reflects its commitment to internal democracy and smooth transition of leadership within the party structure.
