The Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the constitution of a new Governing Council for the Edo State College of Education.
The announcement was made on Tuesday through a special government release signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq.
According to the statement, the newly appointed members of the council are:
- Ephraim O. S. Aluebhosele – Chairman
- ESV Isimekhai Zeenat Odion – Member
- Ehighalua Monday Ehiagwina – Member
- Uwuigbe Victor – Member
- Eigbe, Godwin Ebatamehi – Member
The date for the formal inauguration of the Council by Governor Okpebholo will be announced in due course.
The reconstitution of the Governing Council is part of the government’s efforts to strengthen the administrative and academic framework of the state’s tertiary education institutions.
