Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has congratulated former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, on the occasion of his 62nd birthday.
In a statement issued on Sunday in Asaba by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Oborevwori described Omo-Agege as a distinguished Deltan and an astute politician.
“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I congratulate my brother and former Deputy President of the Senate, Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, as he turns 62 today,” the governor said.
He commended Senator Omo-Agege’s dedicated service to the nation, particularly in the area of lawmaking and effective representation.
“As a lawyer, legislator, and politician, he has demonstrated resilience, courage, and dedication in the discharge of his duties,” Oborevwori stated.
The governor prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health, and blessings upon the former senator, wishing him greater impact in the years ahead.
“As you mark this new age, it is my prayer that God grants you more wisdom, strength and grace to continue contributing meaningfully to the growth and unity of our dear state and nation,” he added.
