The All Progressives Congress (APC) says it feels the pains of Nigerians and shares their aspirations as the nation makes its 64th Independence anniversary.
The State APC Chairman, Mr Cornelius Ojelabi, in his Independence message to Lagos residents and Nigerians on Tuesday ,assured that the APC-led government was working hard to make things better for Nigerians.
“Today, we reflect on our nation’s journey and the progress we have made together. We honour the sacrifices of our founding fathers and the resilience of our people.
“As a party, APC), we reaffirm our commitment to our party’s ideals:- unity and inclusivity, economic growth and development, good governance and accountability.
“We shall continue to work tirelessly for a better Nigeria, Lagos by empowering our Youths, the communities, and uplifting our citizens.”

s,” Ojelabi said.
According to him, the ruling party remains dedicated to addressing challenges facing the country and the state.
The chairman said that the party would not relent in its efforts at empowering local farmers through various agricultural programmes.
He said that the party would continue to support small businesses and artisans with micro-credit initiatives while also enhancing education and skills training for our youth.
Ojelabi said that APC would also continue to invest in rural infrastructure development and many more.
He added: “Let us work together to build a better Nigeria and a better Lagos, starting from our local communities.
“You are the backbone of our great nation and state. Together, we can achieve greatness.
“May God bless Nigeria and guide us towards prosperity. May His divine wisdom strengthen our unity.

NAN reports that Tinubu in his address earlier said that his administration was taking measures to reduce the cost of living.
He said that his administration was retooling the economy through necessary reforms to serve Nigerians better and more sustainable.
The President also said his administration would convene a National Youth Conference to address the challenges and opportunities confronting the youth. (NAN)
