Mr Mohammed Omadefu, member representing Keana Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has reaffirmed his commitment to implementing programmes that directly impact the lives of his constituents.
Omadefu, who is also Chairman of the House Committee on Environment, made the pledge on Tuesday in Lafia while receiving a delegation of his former colleagues from the National Universities Commission (NUC), Abuja, in his office.
Expressing gratitude for the visit, the lawmaker said he remained focused on initiatives that would benefit his people and bring pride to both the NUC and his constituency.
“I am happy and deeply honoured by your visit. Your prayers and unwavering support have meant a lot to me,” he said.
“I assure you that I will continue to make you and my constituents proud by providing quality representation and championing impactful projects.”
Omadefu highlighted his efforts in initiating projects across critical sectors including education, health, agriculture, and infrastructure, adding that his goal is to uplift the standard of living in Keana Constituency.
Earlier, Mr. Aboh Aboh, leader of the visiting delegation, said the purpose of their visit was to show solidarity with Omadefu and express continued support for his leadership.
He commended the lawmaker for his outstanding performance and prayed for God’s guidance, protection, and good health as he continues to serve.
