Gov Umaru Bago has called on Muslim Ummah to always reflect deeply on the life and times of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The governor made the call in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim on Sunday in Minna.
He enjoined adherents of Islam to continue to be peaceful as Prophet Muhammad lived a life worthy of emulation by all.
Bago said Mohammed remains a good and perfect example for Muslims pointing out that love, perseverance, sacrifice, tolerance, and humility among other virtues.
He said that working in the footsteps of the Holy Prophet would guarantee peaceful co-existence, growth and development of any society.
Bago urged them to use the period and offer special prayers for enduring peace and prosperity in the State in particular and Nigeria in general.
He reassured residents of the state of his administration’s commitment to its New Niger agenda for a better life for the people.(NAN)
