The release of U.S. national, Marc Fogel, sentenced in Russia to 14 years in prison for possession of cannabis, demonstrates that the great friendship between Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin would continue, U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff said on Wednesday.
“And I think that’s maybe a sign about what working relationship between President Trump and President Putin will be in the future, and what that may portend for the world at large.
“For conflict and so forth. I think they had a great friendship, and I think now it’s going to continue, and it’s a really good thing for the world,’’ Witkoff told reporters. (RIA/NAN)
