Fidelity Bank Plc has distributed ₦30 million in cash prizes to 29 lucky customers as part of the ongoing sixth season of its Grow, Achieve, Inspire Millions (GAIM) savings promotion.
The beneficiaries emerged during the fourth, fifth, and sixth monthly draws of the initiative, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to promoting financial literacy and a strong savings culture among Nigerians.
Among the winners was Mr Kizito Onunkwo from the Abuja region, who made history by becoming the first customer to win twice in a single season. Onunkwo won in both the fourth and sixth draws, receiving a combined prize of ₦2 million.
The remaining 28 winners, representing various regions across Nigeria, each received ₦1 million.
The draws were conducted electronically and supervised by officials from the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) and other regulatory agencies to ensure fairness and transparency.
At the prize presentation ceremony, Dr Ken Opara, Executive Director and Chairperson of the promo committee, emphasised the bank’s focus on empowering customers with innovative financial products and rewards.
“The GAIM 6 promotion is not only about giving away money,” said Opara. “It is a strategic initiative to cultivate a sustainable savings culture while rewarding the trust and loyalty of our customers.”
Since its launch in December 2024, the GAIM 6 campaign has awarded over ₦48 million to more than 1,700 customers in different draw categories.
Mr Osita Ede, Divisional Head of Product Development, highlighted the eligibility criteria. Customers must save a minimum of ₦10,000 in a Fidelity Bank savings account to qualify for two raffle entries, with every additional ₦5,000 earning another entry. For the grand prize of ₦10 million, customers need at least four tickets.
Special draws are also held for women, youth corps members, schoolchildren, and salaried workers, making GAIM 6 one of the most inclusive financial incentives in Nigeria.
In a related gesture, the bank recently disbursed ₦512.8 million in school fee support to over 1,300 customers, underlining its ongoing efforts to assist families and promote access to education.
