The Tinubu Media Volunteers (TMV) says President Bola Tinubu’s recent engagements in Enugu state is a positive development indicating his readiness to unite the country and ensure that no part is ignored.
The group said this in a statement jointly signed by Mr Chukwudi Enekwechi, its Chairman, and Mr Shedrach Sunday, Secretary, on Sunday.
“For us, the recent visit of President Bola Tinubu to Enugu state has truly shattered any doubts in any quarters about his commitment to serve all Nigerians with equal love and devotion.
“We note with joy that he used the opportunity of the one-day visit to reiterate the need for all Nigerians to see themselves as one united people.
“His adorning of the traditional Igbo attire with a matching cap was symbolic in many ways and further shows his ability to acclimatise himself in any part of the country,” said TMV.
It applauded the announcement by the President to complete the Eastern Railway project, which traversed all states in the South East Region up to Maiduguri in Borno.
The group added that the completion of the rail corridor would accelerate the socio-economic development of the South East and the country in general.
“It is also commendable that President Tinubu had approved the completion of the Port Harcourt to Aba rail line on his assumption of office.
“We acknowledge the announcement of Mr President to support the development of the Anambra oil and gas basin.
“We believe that the realisation of this project will create jobs for the people of the area, as well as boost the revenue profile of the entire region and the country as a whole,” said the group.
It concluded that Tinubu’s visit to Enugu opened a new chapter in an inter-ethnic relationship among all Nigerians and showed that under his watch, no region of the country would be left behind. (NAN)
