“We are here again to solicit your unwavering support for the two major activities we have ahead.
“First is the Continuous Voters Registration and the 2026 Governorship Election in Osun State.
“The CVR shall commence with an online registration on Aug. 18, while the in-person or physical registration shall commence on Aug. 25, across the 30 local government offices in Osun, including the Area office at Modakeke,” he said

He said after completing the online registration forms, prospective registrants can later visit INEC local government offices for biometrics capturing, which includes facials and fingerprints.
He said the physically biometric capturing shall be done between the hours of 9a.m and 3p.m daily, at no cost.
The REC said that notice of election for the 2026
Governorship Election shall be released and posted in all the 30
