Suspected Boko Haram Members have stormed Mafa ward in Tarmuwa Local Government Area of Yobe state killed the entire people of the village, burn houses and shops.
One of the resident who doesn’t want his name to be print told Leadership via telephone conversation that, terrorists with weapons on motorcycles attacked Mafa, killing many innocent burns school, shops and houses.

Also, speaking to Leadership on phone one of the village head, Lawan Mai Bano said on Sunday evening, fighters stormed Mafa ward as suspected Boko Haram had warned an attack on the village since last week.
The terrorists killed many people, burnt over 1000 houses, shops and looted food, they burnt down everything in the village
He said the fighters opened fire indiscriminately and killed many as some residents fled into bush. Nobody remain in the village as iam talking to you now. Some people missing, killing and others fled into bush for safety,
He called on the federal and state government to deploy more troops to the village inorder to protect the lives and citizens. To avoid further incident.
Bano also said that, the attackers abducted many youths, before setting them on fire. burnt houses. We don’t know number of the abduction for now.
The spokesperson of the Yobe state Police command, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim confirmed the attack, said, ” suspected Boko Haram Members invaded Mafa village on Sunday evening was reported to Tarmuwa DPO on the Attack by one of the resident Babagana Goni
According to him, the attackers stormed the village around 4pm on Sunday evening but number of people killed by the attacker is yet to be ascertained for now.
He added that, ” I want to inform you that, for now our men and military personeel are deployed to the village to restore peace after the attack, we are working for the full detail” said Dungus.
