She said that the programme was intended to enrich the social intellect of secondary schools students and prepare them for future tasks.
“ Young people must balance sports and personal life and diversify through skill acquisition which is essential for survival.
“ Youths should stay adaptable and open to new opportunities while prioritising education and personal development, despite their challenges,” she said.
Speaking, the Chairman, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) in Imo, Mr Cosmos Chukwuemeka, urged youths to keep abreast of historical events and continue to enrich their storehouse of knowledge through education.
He thanked the foundation for thinking toward Imo and expressed the association’s commitment to healthy partnerships for holistic sports development.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of papers by resource persons and the exhibition of the French ‘cuisine’ (kitchen/delicacies) as well as language and cultural exhibitions. (NAN)
