The All Progressives Congress (APC) has pegged its expression of interest and nomination forms for
chairmanship and councillorship
aspirants who will be seeking its ticket for the February 21, 2026 Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council election at N20 million and N2.5 million, respectively.
In a schedule of activities and timetable for the election, released by the APC national organising secretary, Sulaiman Argungu on Tuesday, chairmanship aspirants will pay N5 million for the expression of interest form and N15 million for the nomination form, amounting to N20 million.
For the councillorship, aspirants will pay N500,000 for the expression of interest form and N2 million for the nomination form, totalling N2.5 million.
According to the schedule, female and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) aspirants are to purchase the expression of interest form while the nomination form is free for them.
It stated that youth from 25 to 40 of age are to purchase the expression of interest form with a 50% discount on the nomination form.
APC also disclosed that the sale of the nomination forms will be between Thursday this week and Wednesday next week while next week Thursday will be the deadline for the submission of the completed nomination forms, saying primary election will be held on June 25, 2025.
