Gov Hyacinth Alia, has approved the recruitment of a technical team for the Benue State Digital Infrastructure Services Management Enforcement Agency (BENDISMEA).
Alia, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Sir Tersoo Kula, said that with the approval, 253 job openings were now readily available for youths, marking a significant step towards digital advancement in Nigeria.
Kula said that the initiative was aimed at transforming the technological landscape of the state and fostering a more digitally inclusive environment.
The CPS added that the recruitment would not only provide job opportunities for Benue youths, but would also stimulate local economies, enhance digital literacy, and improve access to technology in Nigeria.
“Key benefits of the recruitment include job creation, boosting digital infrastructure, skills development, economic growth, and youth empowerment.
“The governor directed the immediate release of salaries for the new positions, ensuring that the recruitment process is not only swift, but also supportive of the new staff from day one.
“This recruitment is a pivotal moment for Benue as it embarks on a journey to become a digital leader in Nigeria.
