The Israeli army has said it is continuing its airstrikes in Lebanon.
The state news agency NNA reported on Thursday that Israel had bombed a municipal building near Nabatyieh in the south.
According to the Health Ministry, further south, at least four people have been killed in attacks near the border.
It stated that no fewer than two dozen had also been attacked in different locations overnight and this morning.
The Lebanese Civil Defence Department said the rescue operations, including in the Bekaa Valley in the east are already in action to curtail situation.
“Following Israel’s attacks, rescuers have retrieved a girl and other injured individuals from the rubble and also recovered bodies,” it said.
The Israeli military stated that the air force had targeted around 75 sites in Lebanon, including the Bekaa Valley and the south.
It had specifically aimed at weapons depots and rocket launchers. (dpa/NAN)
