Premier League sides Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are reportedly locked in a transfer battle for Raphael Onyedika, the Nigerian midfielder who currently plies his trade at Club Brugge in Belgium.
Onyedika, 24, has become one of Europe’s rising midfield talents, particularly after delivering eye-catching performances during Club Brugge’s UEFA Champions League campaign last season. His consistency and physical presence have sparked strong interest from top clubs across the continent.
According to reports from Transferfeed, Tottenham are looking to bolster their midfield following a disappointing 2024/25 season in which they finished 16th, narrowly avoiding relegation. West Ham, meanwhile, are eyeing Onyedika as a potential replacement for Tomas Soucek, who is expected to leave the London Stadium this summer.
The midfielder, known for his defensive tenacity and ability to break up play, has also caught the attention of Serie A giants AC Milan, who are monitoring his situation closely.
Onyedika was close to joining Galatasaray last summer but eventually remained in Belgium after Club Brugge persuaded him to stay. With just two years remaining on his current contract, Brugge could be tempted to cash in on the Nigerian international should a strong offer be tabled in the coming weeks.
