She said the CP had officially welcomed the officers and commended the Inspector-General of Police (I-G) for the deployment.
According to Disu, the addition of the officers to the command’s workforce would significantly bolster its capacity and enhance public safety and security across the FCT.
The CP urged the officers to uphold professionalism, integrity and discipline in the discharge of their duties.
He enjoined the officers to adhere to international best practices in policing as they discharge their critical role in safeguarding lives and property in the territory.
Disu also, announced that the newly deployed Constable would be granted two weeks break before commencing a specialised retraining programme, designed to refine their skills and prepare them for field operations.
He said in the course of the retraining, the officers will be strategically posted and attached to seasoned police officers who will mentor them and ensure that they embody the values and principles of exemplary policing. (NAN)
