Gov Babagana Zulum of Borno, has reappointed Prof. Bulama Kagu as the Executive Chairman of the Borno State Universal Basic Education Board (BSUBEB) for a second term.
Alhaji Bukar Tijani, Secretary to the State Government (SSG), announced the reappointment in a statement on Saturday in Maiduguri.
The statement indicated that the extension of Kagu’s tenure was based on his exceptional performance during his first tenure.
It observed that the reappointee had recorded significant advancements in the state’s basic education programmes.
The statement said the second term opportunity would enable Kagu to build upon ongoing reforms aimed at strengthening the educational system across the state. (NAN)
