Air Warriors Basketball Club of Abuja on Wednesday announced that they would not participate in the 2024 Zenith Bank Basketball Final 8,to be held in Lagos.
This is contained in a statement issued by Abdulmajid Silademi, Chairman of the club ,on Wednesday in Lagos.
The club said it was pulling out following the involvement of the bus conveying its players in an accident in Lokoja, on their way to Lagos to attend the playoffs.
The club said it would use the time to focus on getting its injured players healed.
The club pledged to come back strong in the future to attend the competition, which ,it said, it held in high esteem.(NAN)
